Ohio State roundup: Women’s swim team gets rare win over Michigan

The Ohio State’s women’s swim team defeated Michigan for just the third time in four decades, 164.5-132.5 at McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion.

The Ohio State men won 12 of 17 events to defeat Harvard 181-118.

• The Ohio State men’s hockey team lost in a shootout to visiting Ferris State in a Central Collegiate Hockey Association game.

Tanner Fritz had a goal and an assist for the Buckeyes, who picked up a point in the conference by way of a 3-3 regulation tie. Ferris State won the shootout 2-0 to earn an extra point.

• The Ohio State (13-9-4, 10-9-1-1) women’s hockey team completed a two-game sweep with a 4-2 victory over visiting Minnesota State 7-19, 3-17) in a Western Collegiate Hockey Association game.
