Ohio State's Samantha Prahalis has been named the Big Ten's player of the week in women's basketball, the conference announced today.

Prahalis, a 5-foot-7 guard, scored a career-high 34 points in the Buckeyes' 72-58 victory over Wisconsin last night. She made 12 of 18 shots from the floor and 4 of 5 three-point attempts. She also had five assists, four steals and two rebounds.

The weekly honor is the third of the season for Prahalis and the seventh time she's won it during her career.
