Michigan suspended defensive end Frank Clark after authorities say he took a laptop from a campus dorm room.

A statement from coach Brady Hoke called it a "serious accusation."

A University police spokeswoman said Clark was arrested on June 19 following the June 14 theft of an $1,800 laptop at Stockwell Hall, where he was living. He is charged with second-degree home invasion and was released on bond on June 20.

• Three former Texas Christian football players who were among more than a dozen students arrested during a drug sting were sentenced to probation on marijuana delivery charges.

David Yendry, 21, pleaded guilty last week and was sentenced to three years of probation and fined $300. Tanner Brock and Tyler Horn, both 21, pleaded guilty to the same charges last month. Brock received four years' probation and was fined $1,200. Horn was sentenced to three years' probation and fined $300.

• Michigan State junior snapper Steve Moore will miss the 2012 season after suffering a fractured spinal vertebra during a freak accident on Saturday.

Moore suffered a cracked C4 vertebra after diving off the back of a boat and landing on a sandbar. He has full use of all extremities, with no loss of sensation. Moore is consulting with doctors regarding possible surgery.
