What a difference a week makes. All it took was Ohio State's lifeless home loss against Michigan State to make the latest edition of The Game -- at least in the eyes of our panel -- almost a dead heat.

What a difference a week makes. All it took was Ohio State's lifeless home loss against Michigan State to make the latest edition of The Game -- at least in the eyes of our panel -- almost a dead heat.

Had the Buckeyes not lost last week, the hunch here is that few, if any, of our prognosticators would be picking OSU to fall again this week. As it is, only three of our heralded seven see Ohio State leaving Ann Arbor with a win.

Additionally, when you add up our predicted scores, we've got the Buckeyes with a total of 162 points and Michigan with 163.

Of course, all of that means you should expect a 48-0 blowout.

This week's games:

Ohio State at Michigan
Iowa at Nebraska
Navy at Houston
Baylor at TCU
Penn State at Michigan State

Michigan 24, Ohio State 23: Ohio State has more talent, but the Wolverines seem more united in spirit and function. Look for their mojo under new coach Jim Harbaugh to re-ignite a rivalry that has been dulled by the Buckeyes' domination in recent years.

Michigan 24, Ohio State 21: The Buckeyes are more talented, but can they bounce back against a motivated team and hostile crowd? If Ohio State can get its passing game going, it should win. But the Buckeyes don't get the benefit of the doubt after last week.
