A first-quarter fumble recovery led to a field goal, and second-quarter interceptions by Chad Moore and Javon Hagan led to touchdowns that allowed the Bobcats (4-2, 2-0 Mid-American Conference) to open a 23-7 lead.

Maleek Irons had a 17-yard TD run after the first interception, and Windham hit Sebastian Smith for a 15-yard score after the second. Irons added a second TD of 2 yards just before halftime.

Windham finished 20 of 27 for 190 yards and also threw one interception.

James Morgan was 22 of 38 for 253 yards and a pair of touchdowns for Bowling Green (1-5, 0-2), but also had three interceptions. His 37-yard strike to Scott Miller pulled the Falcons within six with 1:27 to play, but Jordan Reid recovered the onside kick.

Connecticut 20, Cincinnati 9: Arkeel Newsome ran for 116 yards, and Bryant Shirreffs threw for 224 yards and two touchdowns to help Connecticut (3-2, 1-2) score 20 unanswered points and beat Cincinnati (3-3, 0-3) in the American Athletic Conference.

Hayden Moore, coming back from an ankle injury, threw for 315 yards for the Bearcats, who were held to 2 yards rushing.

Toledo 35, Eastern Michigan 20: Logan Woodside threw four touchdown passes, including a 12-yard fade route to Corey Jones with 2:37 left, and Toledo (4-1, 1-0) outlasted host Eastern Michigan (4-2, 1-1) in the MAC.

Woodside finished 25 of 31 for 247 yards, and Kareem Hunt rushed for 141 yards on 29 carries with a touchdown for the Rockets.

Akron 35, Miami 13: Tra'Von Chapman threw three touchdown passes and ran for 70 yards and another score to lead host Akron (4-2, 2-0) over Miami University (0-6, 0-2) in the MAC.

Ohio Wesleyan 25, Kenyon 17: Dominick Orsini scored on a 54-yard run with 5:23 left, and host Ohio Wesleyan (2-3, 2-2) converted the two-point conversion to defeat Kenyon (3-3, 2-3) in the North Coast Athletic Conference.

Tim Shadoan of Dublin Scioto scored on a 90-yard kickoff return for the Battling Bishops and also kicked a 33-yard field goal. Ross Hickenbottom caught 13 passes for 177 yards, including a 52-yard touchdown catch to open the scoring with 10:36 left in the second quarter. Jax Harville of River Valley completed 21 of 40 passes with a touchdown and two interceptions.

Otterbein 30, Muskingum 17: Otterbein (2-3, 2-2) scored a pair of fourth-quarter touchdowns to break a 17-all tie and defeat host Muskingum (2-3, 1-3) in the Ohio Athletic Conference.

The Cardinals rushed for 262 yards, with quarterback Logan Stepp of West Jefferson totaling 128 yards and two touchdowns on 23 carries. Isaiah Richmond of Pickerington Central ran for 109 yards on 12 carries and scored on a 61-yard run with 1:58 left in the game.

Stepp also completed 11 of 17 passes for 137 yards with a touchdown and an interception.

Ohio Northern 58, Capital 21: Will Freed threw three touchdown passes, and Ohio Northern (2-3, 2-2) used a 27-point second quarter to surprise host Capital (3-2, 3-1) in the Ohio Athletic Conference.

Thomas Wibbeler was 22 of 35 for 232 yards with two touchdowns and an interception for the Crusaders. David Barnett caught eight passes for 102 yards and two touchdowns.
