Forward Brenna Wise is headed to Indiana.

The former Pitt standout picked the Hoosiers on Friday from a list of five finalists that also included Ohio State, Michigan, Dayton and Villanova, her father, Stu, confirmed to The Dispatch.

Wise led the Panthers with 14.3 points and 6.4 rebounds as a sophomore during the 2016-17 season before deciding to transfer in March. She also led Pitt in points and rebounds per game as a freshman, averaging 10.7 points and 7.6 rebounds in 2015-16 to earn ACC all-freshman team honors.

Wise visited Ohio State the weekend of the spring game last month, her father said.

In accordance with NCAA transfer rules, Wise will sit out the 2017-18 season. She has two years of eligibility remaining.

McCoy, Lewis finalize destinations

After Ohio State announced early last month freshman forward Tori McCoy and guard Kiara Lewis had decided to transfer, both have found new programs.

McCoy’s father, Tim, announced on Twitter on May 7 that his daughter had selected Marquette as her new school.

Lewis picked Syracuse as her transfer destination Tuesday, her father, Gary, confirmed to The Dispatch.

McCoy averaged 8.1 points and 4.9 rebounds during the 2016-17 season. Lewis averaged 6.7 points. Both appeared in all 35 games for Ohio State as freshmen.
