Ohio State swept Texas Tech 4-0 on Sunday in Atlanta in the NCAA women's tennis championships to reach the semifinals for the first time.
The third-seeded Buckeyes will play No. 7 Stanford at 4 p.m. today. They have won 18 straight matches since a loss to Florida on March 14.
The teams of Anna Sanford-Sandy Niehaus and Gabriella De Santis-Ferny Angeles Paz clinched the doubles point for OSU (32-2), and Sanford, Miho Kowase and Angeles Paz rolled to straight-set wins in singles to complete the sweep of the Red Raiders (27-4).
Sunday's match had been scheduled for outdoor courts at the University of Georgia in Athens, but was moved to the indoor courts at Georgia Tech because of rain.
