Ohio State’s football game at Michigan will start at noon and a home game Penn State will start at 3:30 p.m., according to kickoff times released Wednesday.
Both games will be televised by the Fox network. Though Fox has owned 51 percent of the Big Ten Network since its inception in 2007, it is the new player in the Big Ten television picture this season, and it grabbed The Game for the first time in history.
Penn State, which upset Ohio State last season, will be in Ohio Stadium on Oct. 28.
The regular-season finale at Michigan is Nov. 25. It will be the third matchup between OSU coach Urban Meyer and Michigan’s Jim Harbaugh. Ohio State has won five straight over the Wolverines.
The Buckeyes’ home game with Army on Sept. 16 also will be televised by Fox with a 4:30 p.m. kickoff, it was announced. The game with Maryland on Oct. 7, which will serve as Ohio State's homecoming, will start at either 3:30 or 4 p.m., depending whether it airs on ABC/ESPN or Fox, which will be determined later.
It was announced last week that ABC will televise the much-anticipated OSU intersectional rematch with Oklahoma on Sept. 9 from Ohio Stadium at 7:30 p.m., while ESPN has the Buckeyes’ season opener, at 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 31 at Indiana.
