Here are the predictions of our local experts for the Ohio State game against Army:

Tim May

Ohio State 35, Army 13

Army won’t march to score after score, but Ahmad Bradshaw and the Black Knights keep the ball enough to make it a low-possession game. J.T. Barrett and his troops make the most of their opportunities.

I get the feeling this will be a slog. Army will shorten the game with its triple-option offense, but the Buckeyes' talent and depth advantage will eventually prevail.

The Army triple option will present some problems, but nothing the Buckeyes defense can’t handle long term. Look for J.K. Dobbins and Mike Weber to have big days as the OSU offense gets back to basics.

J.T. Barrett and company show improvement, but they’re still under construction. Defensively, the Silver Bullets front line attacks the Army option and gives the secondary a much-needed day off.

I'm seeing stars (and stripes), which must mean patriotism wins out over logic. Feel free to disagree … traitors.
