Could Chris Holtmann be about to land verbal commitments on consecutive days?
Tuesday afternoon, Ohio State landed one from Jaedon LeDee, a four-star power forward from Houston (Texas) The Kinkaid School. Today, the Buckeyes will be watching as Duane Washington, a three-star guard who has moved to California from Michigan for his senior year, announces his college decision at 6 p.m. Eastern.

Ohio State looks to be in good shape with the 6-3, 190-pound Washington. His last official visit was to check out Holtmann’s program last weekend, capping a busy stretch that also saw him take official visit to UCLA (Sept. 8) and Oregon (Sept. 12).
A bit of an under-the-radar prospect, The Buckeyes offered him in August after he had a strong July. He’s listed as a point guard but can play at both positions.

Michigan coach John Beilein was on hand visiting Washington on Monday, and the Wolverines have offered. He originally hails from Grand Rapids (Mich.) Christian but transferred to Chatsworth (Calif.) Sierra Canyon in part so he could live with his uncle, five-time NBA champion Derek Fisher.
Washington’s decision looks likely to come down to either Ohio State or UCLA. 247Sports ranks him the No. 32 overall prospect in California, the No. 55 point guard in the country and the No. 289 overall recruit.
