The first signing period of the Chris Holtmann era at Ohio State will open Wednesday morning. The Buckeyes have a four-man class for 2018, and each is planning to put pen to paper and solidify their spots in the program.
Jaedon LeDee, the first member to commit, will sign at a ceremony at Houston (Texas) The Kinkaid School that will run from 12:20-1 p.m. Central time. ESPN ranks the 6-9, 230-pound Ledee as the No. 59 overall prospect in the nation and a four-star recruit.

Also in the ESPN100, four-star guard Luther Muhammad from Jersey City (N.J.) Hudson Catholic will sign alongside classmates at his school at 10 a.m. The 6-4, 185-pound Muhammad is ranked as the No. 94 prospect in the nation and No. 5 in his state.
Duane Washington, who transferred to Chatsworth (Calif.) Sierra Canyon for his senior year, announced his signing plans on Twitter.

247Sports.com ranks Washington as a three-star prospect and the No. 46 point guard in the nation.
Justin Ahrens, a 6-5, 181-pound three-star small forward from Versailles, Ohio, confirmed Tuesday night that he would sign Wednesday but have a media event at a later date. 247Sports ranks him as the No. 7 overall prospect from Ohio and the No. 197 prospect in the country.
Ohio State still has scholarships to give but is unlikely to sign more than one player for next season. It’s also likely that the Buckeyes will go the graduate transfer route rather than swell Holtmann’s first recruiting class to five freshmen.
247Sports ranks Ohio State’s class at No. 16 nationally.
