Visiting Ohio State swept Penn State in a Big Ten baseball doubleheader on Saturday in State College, Pennsylvania.

In the opener, Brady Cherry and Dillon Dingler each hit solo home runs in a 5-1 win. Starter Ryan Feltner (4-2) pitched six shutout innings and allowed five hits to earn the win for the Buckeyes (24-10, 6-3), who broke it open with four runs in the top of the fourth inning.

The teams combined for 26 hits in the second game, a 19-8 OSU victory. Tyler Cowles had a homer and four RBI and Conner Pohl had a homer and three RBI against the Nittany Lions (7-22, 1-11).

Starter Adam Niemeyer (3-2) lasted until the sixth inning and got the win.
