The third-ranked Ohio State men's tennis team swept Kentucky 4-0 in the second round of the NCAA Tournament on Saturday at the Varsity Tennis Courts, advancing to the round of 16 for the 13th straight season.

The Buckeyes (31-2) took the doubles point with Martin Joyce-JJ Wolf and Hunter Tubert-Matt Mendez securing wins. In singles, Joyce pushed the lead to 2-0 with a quick 6-2, 6-0 win over Gus Benson. After dropping the opening set 6-3, Kyle Seelig rebounded to take the next two sets 6-1, 6-0 against Austin Hussey. The clinching point against the No. 26 Wildcats (15-12) came from Wolf, who beat Will Bushamuka 6-4, 6-4.

Ohio State is now 26-0 in home NCAA Tournament matches, and has swept 15 of the last 16. The Buckeyes advance to play Minnesota on Friday at Wake Forest in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
