The Ohio State baseball team’s Big Ten tournament run ended with an 8-1 loss to No. 1 seed Minnesota in the semifinals at TD Ameritrade Park in Omaha, Nebraska, on Saturday.
Minnesota (40-13) scored six runs in the sixth inning to break a 1-1 tie. OSU reliever Griffan Smith (2-2) gave up three runs in the inning and Kyle Michalik allowed the other three.
Ohio State (36-22) will await the NCAA selection show on Monday.
