Ohio State added a five-star offensive tackle to its 2020 recruiting class when Cincinnati St. Xavier’s Paris Johnson Jr. committed Thursday night to the Buckeyes.

Johnson, 6 feet 7 and 285 pounds, is ranked eighth nationally in the 247Sports composite rankings, second among offensive tackles and the top prospect in Ohio.
He becomes the third member of the 2020 recruiting class. Safety Lejond Cavazos committed Wednesday. Offensive tackle Jake Wray, the brother of Ohio State freshman Max Wray, committed in April.
