A team pairing Ohio State and Michigan players together is looking for some help.

“Big X,” a team participating in The Basketball Tournament two weeks from now, has launched a GoFundMe page to raise money to pay for expenses relating to its participation. The team, which includes former Ohio State players Jae’Sean Tate, Kam Williams and Andrew Dakich, is trying to raise more than $5,000 to cover the costs of transportation, food and lodging for its 11-man roster.

You can donate to the team by visiting its webpage here.

Big X will open TBT play as the No. 4 seed in the Midwest Region on July 21 at 10 a.m. Columbus will host the regional, with games being played at Capital University’s Capital Center Performance Arena.

In addition to the former Buckeyes, the roster includes Mark Donnal, Stu Douglass, Jon Horford and Duncan Robinson from Michigan, Vitto Brown from Wisconsin, Nnanna Egwu from Illinois, Harry Rafferty from Wesleyan University and Gabe DeVoe from Clemson.

Another team of former Ohio State players, Scarlet & Gray, will also participate but has much of its costs defrayed by former NBA players affiliated with the team.
