The team of former Ohio State players competing in The Basketball Tournament has added another big name.

Today, Scarlet & Gray announced that Greg Oden will be participating in the tournament, which will get underway for the team July 20 at Capital University. The 7-foot center, a former No. 1 NBA draft pick, has not played public, competitive basketball since he was with the Jiangsu Dragons of the Chinese Basketball Association for the 2015-16 season.

Injuries have otherwise derailed Oden's career. When healthy, he helped lead Ohio State to the 2007 national championship game during his lone season in college. He is currently entering his final season as a student assistant for the Buckeyes and is on track to graduate next spring.

Scarlet & Gray reached the final four of last year's TBT.
