After much speculation on what Urban Meyer will do after retiring as the Ohio State football head coach on Jan. 2, it has been confirmed that he will stay with the Buckeyes, but in a different role. 

Ohio State athletic director Gene Smith said that Meyer will become the assistant athletic director. No other details were provided about what the job will entail or when he would start the position.
