Michigan State’s Brody Stevens and Patrick Khodorenko scored consecutive goals early in the third period to help defeat No. 7 Ohio State 3-2 at Value City Arena in the regular-season finale.

Wyatt Ege found the net on the power play in the first period to tie it at 1 for the Buckeyes (20-9-5, 13-7-4-3). Tanner Laczynski made it a one-goal game with 2:47 to play, but OSU couldn’t beat the Spartans (12-17-5, 8-12-4-2) after that.
