Ashley Prange hit a solo homer and Emily Clark later connected on a two-run shot as Ohio State scored three times in the ninth inning to beat host Pittsburgh 5-2 on Wednesday.

Andi Farrah had an RBI double in the fourth and Kaitlyn Coffman’s solo homer in the fifth gave the Buckeyes (21-10) a 2-0 lead, before the Panthers (5-29) tied it with two runs in the sixth.

Lauren Rice (11-1) picked up the win with 3 1/3 innings in relief of starter Morgan Ray.
