Iowa broke open a tie game with four runs in the seventh to beat Ohio State 11-4 at Bill Davis Stadium.

Ohio State (23-20, 6-8) was buoyed by a pair of home runs — one from Brady Cherry in the third and another from Dominic Canzone in the eighth.

Iowa (26-15, 11-6) had 16 hits and took advantage of four Buckeyes errors.

Ohio State’s Seth Lonsway started and gave up one earned run and struck out seven in 5 1/3 innings.
