Players will spend a portion of camp at a team hotel, checking in on Aug. 5.

All preseason practices will be on campus at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center. They are closed to the public. The first scrimmage for the Buckeyes is set for Aug. 10.

It is the first preseason camp for Ryan Day since he was promoted to coach. Day was acting head coach last August after Urban Meyer was suspended amid a university investigation into his handling of domestic violence allegations involving former assistant Zach Smith. The investigation spanned three weeks of preseason practices.

The Buckeyes open the season Aug. 31 against Florida Atlantic.
