It’s officially list-cutting season for members of the 2020 recruiting class, and Ohio State has made a new list.
Today, four-star power forward Lance Ware from Burlington (New Jersey) Camden announced his five finalists in a list posted to Twitter. Included on the list: Kentucky, Miami, Michigan, Providence and Ohio State.

In an interview with PrepCircuit.com, Ware said he has official visits scheduled to four of those schools: Ohio State on August 30, Michigan on September 5, Providence on September 12 and Miami on September 28. A Kentucky visit it still in the works.
Ware earned a scholarship offer from Ohio State in early June. His high school coach, Rick Brunson, discussed Ware's abilities and his recruitment in an interview with The Dispatch.
The 247Sports.com composite database lists Ware as a four-star recruit, the No. 47 prospect in the nation, the No. 7 power forward and the No. 2 prospect from his state.
Ohio State currently has one available scholarship for the class of 2020. Today, it hosted four-star center Ryan Kalkbrenner from St. Louis (Missouri) Trinity Catholic on an unofficial visit and is awaiting a decision from four-star shooting guard Keon Johnson from Bell Buckle (Tennessee) The Webb School. Johnson is announcing between Ohio State and Tennessee on Tuesday.
