Star of the game
Running back J.K. Dobbins ran for 193 yards, the second-best performance of his college career, approaching his career-high 203 rushing yards late last season at Maryland. Dobbins’ effort came in less than three quarters before backups replaced him in garbage time.
Stat that matters
257: Yards of offense by Indiana marked its fewest against Ohio State since a 38-10 loss in 2010 when it was limited to 210. The Hoosiers had an especially slow start as they didn’t gain a yard until their third drive.
It was another dominant victory for the Buckeyes with the latest blowout coming over a team that had been competitive against them in recent seasons. Indiana was within single digits of Ohio State at halftime last season and had a narrow lead after the first two quarters in 2017.
