Ohio State will be missing more than Chase Young when the Buckeyes play at Rutgers on Saturday.

In addition to Young, who’ll be serving the second part of two-game suspension for taking an improper loan, the Buckeyes will again be without his defensive end counterpart Jonathon Cooper as well as linebacker Baron Browning and wide receiver Austin Mack.

They were the most prominent players listed as unavailable on the team’s status report on Friday. Ohio State does not specify the nature of injuries.

Cooper has played in only three games this season after he had ankle surgery because of a training camp injury. Browning played briefly last week against Maryland.

Mack hasn’t played since the Northwestern game on Oct. 18.

Also listed as unavailable are offensive tackle Josh Alabi, wide receiver Kamryn Babb, running back Marcus Crowley, defensive lineman Noah Donald, wide receiver Elijah Gardiner, safety Ronnie Hickman, offensive lineman Matt Jones, offensive lineman Brett Novick, wide receiver C.J. Saunders and defensive tackle Taron Vincent.

Linebacker Teradja Mitchell, who hasn’t played since the Miami University game on Sept. 21, is not listed on the status report so he is expected to be available.
