The Minutemen trailed 7-4 before Kevin Tobin made it a two-goal deficit late in the third quarter. Gabriel Procyk and Jeff Trainor each scored twice in the fourth to complete the comeback.

Griffin Hughes and Connor Mitchell had two goals apiece for the Buckeyes, who trailed 3-2 at halftime before a 5-1 scoring run in the third.
