Ohio State secured the first in-state commitment for its 2022 recruiting class on Thursday when four-star Lakota West offensive lineman Tegra Tshabola announced he would become a Buckeye.

"My family and I have done a lot of thinking and we decided to end my recruiting process and I have decided to commit to The Ohio State University," Tshabola posted on Twitter.

Ohio State got its first commitment for 2022 on Wednesday when New Orleans cornerback Jyaire Brown committed.

Tshabola is listed as a 6-foot-6, 320-pounder. The West Chester resident is ranked 93rd nationally, according to 247Sports.com and is the second-ranked prospect in Ohio.
