Six Ohio State teams recorded perfect multiyear Academic Progress Rate scores, according to figures released Tuesday by the NCAA.

The Buckeyes had scores of 1,000 in men's cross country, men's golf, men's tennis, women's golf, women's gymnastics and women's soccer, receiving public recognition awards.

All Ohio State teams met the 930 threshold required to avoid possible penalties, which include a postseason ban.

The multiyear score for the football program was 985, a decline of two points, though ahead of the national average of 964.

The Buckeyes' multiyear football score ranked third in the Big Ten, trailing Northwestern (995) and Wisconsin (986).

Twenty-one of Ohio State’s teams recorded perfect scores for the 2018-19 academic year, including men’s basketball, which saw its multiyear score rise to 965, an improvement of 25 points.
