How to get a free doughnut when you get a COVID-19 vaccine
Need a reward for getting a shot in the arm?
Forget about getting a lollipop or a piece of candy.
Krispy Kreme Doughnuts has a sweet and doughy reason to get a COVID-19 vaccine. The nationwide chain known for its glazed doughnuts is showing its support for those who received a vaccination by giving them a free doughnut.
From now until the end of 2021, you can get a free Krispy Kreme original glazed doughnut when you show your vaccination card as proof.
Anyone who received at least one of the two shots of Moderna or Pfizer or one shot of the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccines is eligible.
While your vaccine may be one or two and done, the Krispy Kreme offer isn't. The offer is limited to one doughnut per day, but you can go in every day or weekly, or monthly. You can go in whenever you want now through the end of the year to get a free doughnut. The offer is only valid for in-store or drive-thru.
And if you haven't had or don't plan on getting the vaccine, starting March 29 you can get an original glazed doughnut and a medium coffee for free. The offer is good on Mondays only through May 24.
The free doughnut promotion, according to Krispy Kreme’s website, is valid at participating locations. There are three locations in metro Detroit listed: Allen Park, Troy and Utica.
