Former coach Urban Meyer will be in attendance for Ohio State’s football game against Wisconsin on Oct. 26.
Meyer, who works as a TV analyst, is a part of Fox's “Big Noon Kickoff” pregame show, which will broadcast from Ohio Stadium before the Buckeyes’ game against the Badgers.
The network confirmed the location Friday. The pregame show is set for 11 a.m., followed by the previously scheduled noon kickoff on Fox.
The program’s other analysts, including former Notre Dame quarterback Brady Quinn and former Southern California stars Reggie Bush and Matt Leinart, will join Meyer on the set. They will be set up in the southwest tunnel of the Horseshoe, and also provide analysis at halftime and following the game.
It is the inaugural season for “Big Noon Kickoff,” which is televised during the final hour of ESPN’s “College GameDay,” the longstanding Saturday morning college football pregame show that has broadcast outside stadiums for the last quarter of a century.
With Fox’s show descending on Columbus, it is unclear whether ESPN plans to bring “College GameDay” to Ohio State, as well.
Fox’s pregame show has made other stops in recent weeks, including Saturday at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, where Oklahoma and Texas faced off in their annual Red River Rivalry, and last month at the Coliseum in Los Angeles, where Southern California hosted Utah in a Friday night matchup.
