THE COLUMBUS DISPATCH

The expected rain and a good Badgers defense might put a damper on OSU's offensive explosiveness, but unless Jonathan Taylor runs wild, the Buckeyes have too much top-to-bottom talent for Wisconsin to handle.

The talent disparity is too significant for Wisconsin to pull off an upset at Ohio Stadium, where it hasn’t won since 2004, but a stout defense, plus running back Jonathan Taylor, is a combination that should make the Buckeyes sweat a bit more.

The Badgers likely were looking ahead to the Buckeyes in losing to Illinois last week, but the shocking upset also revealed cracks in UW's foundation. Ohio State not only will further expose those cracks but widen them in the Horseshoe.

Ohio State’s offensive scheme is similar to that of Illinois, but with much better athletes, meaning a long day could be in store for Wisconsin’s defense. The Badgers offense has done well all season controlling the clock, which may be their best chance of slowing down Justin Fields.
