Ohio State's season-opening game against Nebraska on Oct. 24 is scheduled to kick off at noon.

The game at Ohio Stadium will be broadcast on FOX.

A game time had not been announced by the network, but Nebraska’s online schedule was updated on Wednesday to reveal the time slot and TV pairing. The game remained listed as TBA by Ohio State.

Seven of the 12 regular-season games for the Buckeyes last fall featured noon kickoffs.

Most were picked up by FOX, which has prioritized placing its best games in the early kickoff window on Saturdays in order to follow its new “Big Noon Kickoff” preview show. Former Ohio State coach Urban Meyer is one of the studio analysts for the morning show.

A matchup with Nebraska for the season opener was determined when the Big Ten released a revised conference-only, nine-game schedule for teams earlier this month. The Cornhuskers are one of the crossover games for the Buckeyes.

The teams met in Lincoln last season, where Ohio State won in a 48-7 rout.
