Ohio State men's basketball recruiting | Buckeyes make top 3 for E.J. Liddell

E.J. Liddell has trimmed his list to three teams, and once again Ohio State has made the cut.
Tonight on his personal Twitter page, the four-star power forward prospect from Belleville (Illinois) West announced that is down to three schools. In no particular order, they are Ohio State, Missouri and Illinois. In the video in the Tweet, Liddell closes with the phrase, "Decision coming soon."

Within the last few weeks, the 6-foot-7, 220-pound Liddell had announced his top five schools with plans to take an official visit to each. Ohio State went first and hosted him during the weekend of August 31 and Missouri followed one weekend later by hosting him for an official visit.
Liddell was slated to visit Kansas State during the weekend of Sept. 28, Wisconsin the following weekend and Illinois during the weekend of Oct. 12. He does not appear to be visiting the Badgers or the Wildcats.
During the summer, Liddell took an unofficial visit to Ohio State before AAU season got underway. The Dispatch caught up with him that day in the parking lot before he headed home.
Last month, West coach Joe Muniz told The Dispatch what kind of player Liddell has been and what expectations are for his senior season. He is the No. 47 national recruit in the 247Sports.com composite rankings for the class of 2019, the No. 10 prospect at his position and the top recruit from his state.
The Buckeyes have two verbal commitments for their class of 2019 and likely will take one more player.
