One of Ohio State’s top remaining recruiting targets for the class of 2019 is ready to announce his college decision.

Monday night at 7 p.m. Eastern, four-star power forward E.J. Liddell from Belleville (Illinois) West will post his choice from finalists Illinois, Missouri and Ohio State to his Twitter account.

Liddell had initially announced a list of his final five schools with plans to take official visits to each of them, but eliminated Kansas State and Missouri and instead took trips to see the Buckeyes, Tigers and Fighting Illini. Ohio State hosted him during the weekend of August 31, Missouri hosted him the following weekend and Illinois during the weekend of October 12. He has also taken multiple unofficial visits, including one to Ohio State in early June.

Liddell has refrained from public comment since naming his finalists and scheduling visits. Ohio State has at times been viewed as the leader in his recruitment, but it’s unclear which way he might be leaning.

The composite rankings at 247Sports.com list Liddell as the top recruit from Illinois, the No. 10 power forward in the nation and the No. 48 overall recruit.
