Ohio State men's basketball recruiting | Buckeyes make lists for Lester Quinones and Che Evans

Ohio State isn’t necessarily done with its 2019 recruiting class, and it doesn’t yet have any commitments for its 2020 recruiting class. Coach Chris Holtmann discussed both situations last week, and you can read all about it by clicking here.
During the weekend, though, the Buckeyes have made the updated lists for a pair of recruits in both classes.
In a post to his Twitter account Sunday evening, Lester Quinones included the Buckeyes among his final seven schools under consideration. A four-star shooting guard from New York, the 6-5, 180-pound Quinones is playing for Bradenton (Florida) IMG Academy and rated as a four-star prospect, the No. 9 shooting guard in the nation and the No. 64 overall recruit according to the 247Sports.com composite.

His final seven schools are Indiana, Georgia, Maryland, Memphis, Michigan, LSU and Ohio State, in alphabetical order.
Also Sunday, four-star small forward Che Evans from Lutherville Timonium (Maryland) Dulaney announced that he had cut his list to six teams. They are, in alphabetical order: Boise State, Florida, Ohio State, TCU, Texas Tech and UCLA. According to the 247Sports.com composite rankings, Evans is the No. 147 recruit in the nation, the No. 30 small forward prospect and the No. 6 overall prospect from his state.
Evans took an unofficial visit to Ohio State last October and came away with a scholarship offer. He took an official visit to Boise State in early November and followed that with an unofficial visit to UCLA. Last week, with Texas Tech in the house, Evans reached 1,000 career points.
As the roster currently stands, the Buckeyes have one available scholarship for the 2019 class after signing a three-member class in November. That trio, featuring point guard DJ Carton and forwards Alonzo Gaffney and E.J. Liddell, is rated as the No. 10 class in the nation.
