Men's tennis | Ohio State 4, VCU 0: JJ Wolf leads Buckeyes

JJ Wolf won at No. 1 singles and doubles to lead the Ohio State men's tennis team to a 4-0 victory over Virginia Commonwealth on Saturday as part of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Kickoff Weekend.
The four-team event at the OSU Varsity Tennis Center is one of 15 being held this weekend across the nation. The winners of the single-elimination events advance to the ITA Division I men's indoor championships from Feb. 15-18 in Chicago.
Ohio State will play at noon Sunday against Arkansas, which beat Cornell 4-3 in the day's other match at OSU.
Wolf, ranked No. 3, defeated Rayane Stable 6-1, 6-1 in singles and teamed with Martin Joyce to beat Stable and Javier Amantegui 6-1 in doubles.
John McNally and Hunter Tubert also won to give OSU the doubles point, beating Philip Mobius and Inaki Rivero Crespo 6-1.
Kyle Seelig and Alex Kobelt also posted singles victories for Ohio State (4-0).
Seelig, ranked No. 13 at No. 3 singles, beat Stefan Petrovic 6-0, 6-2.
Kobelt defeated Amantegui 6-3, 6-0 at No. 6 singles.
VCU fell to 2-2.
Ohio State also will play host to Toledo at 5 p.m. Sunday in a regular-season match.
