Ohio Stater qualified five wrestlers to title matches at the Big Ten championships in Minneapolis, but the Buckeyes trail Penn State 131.0 to 111.5 atop the team standings.
Luke Pletcher (133 pounds) will take on Nick Suriano of Rutgers, Joey McKenna (141) faces Chad Red of Nebraska, Micah Jordan (149) wrestles Anthony Ashnault of Rutgers, Myles Martin (184) faces Skakur Rasheed of Penn State and Kollin Moore (197) will take on Bo Nikal of Penn State in championship bouts on Sunday.
Ke-Shawn Hayes will wrestle John Van Brill of Rutgers for seventh place at 157, and Te’Shan Campbell is in a consolation semifinal at 165 against Logan Massa of Michigan.
The Nittany Lions, meanwhile, qualified six wrestlers to title matches — including two against OSU — and have three others in the consolation semifinals.
