Nate Sucese scored two goals, and Penn State overwhelmed top-seeded Ohio State 5-1 in a Big Ten hockey tournament semifinal Sunday before 4,545 at Value City Arena.
Alex Limoges added a goal and an assist for the Nittany Lions (22-14-2). Brandon Biro and Liam Folkes also added goals.
John Wiitala scored the only goal for the Buckeyes (20-10-5) to make it 4-1 early in the third period. Goalie Tommy Nappier made 31 saves.
Penn State will play for the title Saturday at Notre Dame, which beat Minnesota 2-1 in overtime Saturday.
