Ohio State shot a final-round score of 9 under par and 20-under overall to place second in an NCAA regional at TPC of Myrtle Beach, S.C., advancing to the NCAA championships.
Caleb Ramirez and Will Voetsch combined to shoot 17-under for the Buckeyes, who are making their first NCAA championship appearance since 2011.

Ohio State finished five strokes behind Illinois (839). Wake Forest, California and UNLV also qualified.
Ramirez finished in a fourth-place tie among individuals with a 207. Voetsch tied for sixth with a 208.
Laken Hinton (tied for 14th) shot a 2-under 214, Daniel Wetterich (tied for 20th) an even 216 and Will Grimmer (tied for 35th) a 220.
