Ohio State's JJ Wolf advanced to the NCAA's Sweet Sixteen after downing Oklahoma State's Matej Vocel in the second round 4-6, 6-2, 7-5 at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Florida. Wolf held a 5-3 lead in the final set before Vocel tied it 5-5. Wolf then broke Vocel's serve for a 6-5 lead and closed out his advantage at 40-40 after Vocel's backhand sailed just past the baseline.
The doubles duo of Martin Joyce and Hunter Tubert was eliminated by Nicolas Morena DeAlboran and Anders Holman of Cal-Santa Barbara in a three-set final 3-6, 7-5, 10-8.
