Tanner Laczynski’s goal midway through the first period stood up until Myer Gordi added an empty-net clincher in the final minute, as Ohio State blanked Michigan State 2-0 on Sunday afternoon in Value City Arena.
Tommy Nappier recorded the shutout in net for the 11th-ranked Buckeyes (9-4-1, 5-3-0-0 Big Ten), making 23 saves.
Ohio State swept the weekend series from No. 20 Michigan State (6-7-1, 4-3-1-0), also winning 3-1 on Saturday.
