Men’s hockey | Ohio State will get Wisconsin rematch in Big Ten tournament after winless weekend

Ohio State let a 3-0 lead slip away Saturday against Wisconsin, which tied the score in Value City Arena before getting an extra Big Ten point for a 3-on-3 goal in overtime.
The Buckeyes and the Badgers will face off again in Columbus next weekend in a Big Ten Tournament best-of-three quarterfinal series. Ohio State (18-11-5, 11-9-4-1) is the tournament’s No. 2 seed, with the Badgers (14-18-2, 7-15-2-2) No. 7.
Tate Singleton, Carson Meyer and Tanner Laczynski scored for the Buckeyes in Saturday’s tie.
The previous night, Max Zimmer scored the go-ahead goal at 14:51 of the third period and Wisconsin beat host Ohio State 3-2.
Ronnie Hein scored for Ohio State to tie it at 2-2 at 18:54 of the second period. Tanner Laczynski’s goal gave the Buckeyes a 1-0 lead at 1:43 of the second.
