Ohio State wrestling | Moore, Pletcher, Sasso move into Big Ten finals

Ohio State’s Kollin Moore, Luke Pletcher and Sammy Sasso each won quarterfinal and semifinal matches Saturday in the Big Ten wrestling tournament in Piscataway, New Jersey.
Moore, ranked No. 1 at 197 pounds, won by major decisions against Michigan’s Jackson Striggow, 18-5, in a quarterfinal match, and Northwestern’s Lucas Davison, 16-5, in a semifinal.
Pletcher, No. 2 at 141 pounds, beat Dylan Duncan of Illinois 11-5 in the quarterfinals and Mitch McKee of Minnesota 11-3 in the semis.
Sasso, ranked No. 1 at 149 pounds, beat Northwestern’s Yahya Thomas 5-4 in a quarterfinal match, and Michigan's Kanen Storr, 3-0, in a semifinals.
The finals are today. Moore will face Eric Schultz of Nebraska; Pletcher faces Nick Lee of Penn State; and Sasso squares off against Pat Lugo of Iowa.
