Another highlight of Saturday's Ohio State spring football game will be the return of live marching performances. Ohio State musicians in the Athletic Band are back in action.

The return to Ohio Stadium was announced on Monday via social media by the Twitter account for the main marching band, TBDBITL.

The marching band didn't play during games last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic

The team's cheerleaders and dance team will also perform during Saturday's game.

The school is allowing 19,180 spectators to watch the game, with the majority being given to front-line pandemic workers at Wexner Medical Center and other entities on campus. The number was set after Columbus Public Health guidance and health orders from Gov. Mike DeWine.

Attendees will be required to social distance and wear masks.

The spring game, which starts at noon, will be televised on the Big Ten Network.

Buckeye fans were excited about the announcement.
