Ohio State advances to Big Ten final in women's tennis

MADISON, Wis. — The Ohio State women’s tennis team defeated Iowa 4-2 in the semifinals of the Big Ten tournament on Saturday.

The top-seeded Buckeyes (20-3) moved on to face No. 2 Michigan in the championship at 3 p.m Sunday.

Buckeye junior Isabelle Boulais rallied for a three-set win to clinch the semifinal and the Buckeyes' 12th win in a row.

Ohio State won the doubles point with victories from the duos of Lucia Marzal and Lisa Hofbauer and Luna Dormet and Irina Cantos Siemers. Marzal and Dormet won in singles for a 3-0 lead. Iowa won the next two. After dropping the first set 6-1, Boulais took the second 6-3 and the won the final four games.
