You can play as college football teams on 'Madden 22' but not Ohio State
EA Sports is taking a leap forward in leading up its first college football video game since 2014.
The franchise announced Tuesday that 10 Campus Legends teams will be available on its "Madden 22" video game until Sept. 27.
“Throughout the football season, we deliver new content and enhancements to our Madden players and we’re really excited to bring the fanfare of college football to the millions of players already enjoying "Madden NFL 22" to one of our most accessible ways to play in Superstar KO,” Seann Graddy, executive producer for EA SPORTS Madden NFL, said in a statement.
What's surprising is one college football team not on the list: Ohio State.
Which teams are featured in the Campus Legends mode?
Featured teams in “Madden’s Superstar KO” mode, include Clemson, Miami (Florida), LSU, Michigan State, Florida, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Oregon, Southern California and Texas.
The rosters on the limited-edition mode feature top football players from each college.
The ten teams featured are also featured on the video game's Face of the Franchise mode, which allows users to play in high school and college games to try to reach the NFL.
EA hasn't officially released a launch date for a complete college football game or officially said whether the game will include updated, accurate rosters.
