Ohio State Buckeyes running back Miyan Williams (28) scores a rushing touchdown against Minnesota Golden Gophers during the first quarter of their game in Huntington Bank Stadium at University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, MN on September 2, 2021.

Ohio State's first touchdown of the 2021 season was a long one.

And an impressive one.

There was a question of who would be the starting running back for the Buckeyes in 2021, but Miyan Williams may have squashed that question.

The redshirt freshman from Cincinnati busted on the scene by busting loose on a 71-yard touchdown run in the first quarter of Ohio State’s first game of the season against Minnesota on Thursday.

Williams, listed at 5 feet 8 and 225, surged past the Minnesota defense on the first offensive drive of the season for the Buckeyes.
