Ohio State football, Big Ten remember 9/11 before Saturday's game with Oregon

Ohio State football remembered the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks on Saturday before its anticipated game against Oregon. 

Today is the 20th anniversary of the attacks that changed the world and Ohio State, the Big Ten and the college football world took a moment on social media to remember the day that changed so many lives.

Patriot Day 2021:Columbus-area events to commemorate 20th anniversary of 9/11

Ohio State, which is hosting FOX's Big Noon Kickoff show on Saturday, unveiled a remembrance logo on Saturday morning that many in the program posted on social. 

Ohio State athletics tweeted a message: "Remembering & honoring those we lost 20 years ago today. #NeverForget."

Ohio State will have a "9/11" sticker on their helmets against Oregon. 

Ohio State University also tweeted a similar message.

The Big Ten tweeted; "Today we remember all those who lost their lives and whose lives were affected by the tragic events of September 11, 2001. We will #NeverForget"

Ohio State strength coach Mickey Marotti also remembered Sept. 11, 2001. 

Ohio State football did as well. 

ESPN College GameDay did the same.
