Ohio State’s final non-conference game against Akron on Sept. 25 will be at night.

Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m., and the game will be televised on the Big Ten Network. The conference on Monday announced game times and broadcast pairings for Week. 4.

It’s the first night game at Ohio Stadium this season after the Buckeyes hosted Oregon at noon this past Saturday and is to face Tulsa at 3:30 p.m. this weekend.

It's the first meeting between Ohio State and Akron since the Buckeyes opened their season in 2011 with a 42-0 victory over the Zips. They also won previous games in 2007 and 2001.

Akron, which opened its season with consecutive losses to Auburn and Temple, hosts Bryant, a Football Championship Subdivision school, on Saturday before coming to Columbus.
