Meet the Hoosiers: Indiana football depth chart against Ohio State

The Columbus Dispatch

This was supposed to be a big season for Indiana football.

Coming off a surprising 6-2 season in 2020 and returning a star quarterback in Michael Penix, the Hoosiers were expected to challenge the Big Ten powers for the conference championship.

But the No. 17-ranked team in the preseason has struggled in 2021. At 2-4 overall and 0-3 in conference play, Indiana enters its showdown with Ohio State a much different team than was predicted in August.

Meet the Buckeyes:Marcus Williamson is Ohio State's philosopher defensive back

But Ohio State isn’t buying it. Not after Indiana nearly beat them in Ohio Stadium last year. Ohio State can't overlook the the Hoosiers at 7:30 p.m. Saturday in Bloomington.

Penix, who suffered a knee injury at the end of last season, is battling a separated shoulder. Jack Tuttle is expected to start against the Buckeyes on Saturday, but Penix was listed by the school as the starter for the Hoosiers earlier this week.

What could the rest of the starting lineup look like against the Ohio State?
